Full Job Description

In this role you will provide a professional and inspiring welcome to new colleagues by delivering the company induction programme and support the planning and delivery of the wider training calendar for your village.

You'll be able to work independently and take responsibility for the planning and delivery of key training programmes for management development topics and check in with colleagues undertaking apprenticeship programmes to offer support where needed. You'll also be involved in the coordination of legal compliance courses for all colleagues and monitor completion of online modules.

The role requires someone who can impact and influence both managers and colleagues to ensure that learning and development activities are planned in, completed in a timely manner and can also review and analyse data to support with reporting on training activities.

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4-week period (40 hours per week). Your working hours will typically be Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. However, flexibility to work occasional weekends will be required.

As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.

  • Experience of delivering a range of training topics to mixed groups from diverse job roles

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to inspire confidence and establish rapport and credibility

  • Ability to work under your own initiative

  • Competent user of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint


  • Desirable requirements:
  • Recognised training qualification i.e. CIPD Level 3 In Learning and Development or equivalent

  • IOSHH Managing Safely or equivalent

  • Previous experience of working in a service environment where the interface between employees and customers is critical.
