We are looking for a confident consultant who will support the development and execution of our leadership learning solutions leading to measurable improvements in employee performance and productivity.

About the role

You'll effectively design, implement, and successfully facilitate leadership and management training initiatives on a national scale across multi-site locations. You will conduct regular learning needs analysis, create engaging training materials, supporting toolkits and design virtual and face to face workshops using various creative mediums. You will need to evaluate the effectiveness of learning solution, using recognised learning evaluation models.

Your expertise will facilitate the integration of learning initiatives in line with business goals, ensuring a positive effect on employee performance and development, consistently assessing current and designing future focused functional learning and development strategies, which will position Royal Mail as first choice for the best talent.

Are you a professional Learning & Development Consultant, who has a rich background in the design and facilitation of management and leadership training in a large complex organisation? If so, we have an exciting opportunity to share!, To be successful in this role, you'll demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Experience of progressive responsibility and measurable success in learning and development including leading strategies within a fast-paced, highly matrixed, multi-functional environment.

  • Experience of the full learning and development cycle from diagnosis through to evaluation.

  • Strong experience of using technology, and virtual tools (webinar platforms) to enhance the employee learning experience.

  • Experience of designing and facilitating blended learning & development solutions, within customer centric, global organisations.

  • Strong stakeholder management examples demonstrating how to influence outcomes.

    Learning & Development Consultant - Nationwide -National Travel (Hybrid Working) - 24 Month Fixed Term Contract.
    Competitive salary, car allowance £4,200 cash equivalent, private healthcare, 18% annual bonus potential, company pension scheme with highly competitive contribution rates and generous annual leave offering of 27.5 days, plus bank holidays, increasing to 30 days after 10 years' service.

    Location: Nationwide. This is a hybrid working role with national travel. You will be required to frequently travel across the Royal Mail network with a base location at your nearest Royal Mail business location.
