    Tasks and Responsibilities

    A successful Learning & Development Specialist - Operations will be required to drive forward the implementation of the Learning, Development and Talent Strategy. This will include supporting policy across the Business region by consulting with key stakeholders to ensure positive engagement through delivery of regulatory training according to legal and business requirements, investing in a tailored learning approach and adhering to Legislative & Regulatory compliance. A key requirement of the role includes analysing training support needsand provide a quality service to the end customer, brokering resources to accomplish and monitoring progress to make sure learning objectives are completed. This training cycle will need to operate within a framework of Legislative and Regulatory compliance requirements in addition to DHL Policy and Procedural Standards. Although this position primarily operations from a single location, substantial travel within the business unit region sites is necessary
    along with an expectation to work 3-4 nights every 4 weeks.
  • Work effectively with operations stakeholders and participants enhancing relationships through the management of training needs analysis process

  • Ensure regular training needs analysis are documented and action plans implemented

  • Act as an ambassador and source of expertise representing the Operations department Including senior stakeholders

  • Consult with internal and external suppliers/stakeholders to ensure training programmes are maintained and developed inline with regulatory changes.

  • Analyse, plan, develop, implement and evaluate training solutions through recognised models

  • Ensure adherence to all current legislative and regulatory policy and practice

  • Adhere to country laws/regulations and company procedures/ standards in regard to Safety and Security

  • Adhere to customs / import / export procedures as applicable

  • Ensure any potential security breaches or concerns are brought to the attention of supervisor/manager without delay

  • Buildand managerelationships both new and exisiting

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role or operations

  • 6-12 months experience in training delivery and/or coach using a variety of techniques and media

  • PTTLS or level 3 award in Education and Training
