Lifeguard

The F4YP Lifeguard role is to ensure the safety of all pool users during our programmed swimming sessions including behaviour of participants where safety is put at risk.

F4YP run swimming lessons @ Polam Swim school for beginner and intermediate swimmers between the age of 5-16. We have qualified staff teaching sessions and managing dry side

Working hours will be: Thursdays 4:15pm-7.30pm for 10 weeks of each academic term. Dates provided in advance

All our staff are are role models for young people and therefore need passion, enthusiasm and energy as well as demonstrating and enforcing our values of: RESPECT, HONESTY, FUN and DREAM BIG at all times.

We are looking for a lifeguard who will take initiative, enjoys working with children and takes pride and responsibility in their work.

PLEASE NOTE THE DEPTH OF THE POOL WE USE IS 2m AND THEREFORE LIFEGUARDS MUST BE QUALIFIED TO WORK AT SUCH A POOL.

Applicants must be 16+

Desired experience: Previous lifeguard experience, working with children.

Required Qualification: NPLQ or equivalent qualification, pool depth assessed to 2m

Required training and checks (provided by F4YP): Clear enhanced DBS check, safeguarding training level 2
