Line Cutter - Level 3 (8-hour shift 7:00hrs - 16:00hrs)

AJ & RG Barber Limited currently have x 2 vacancies for a Line cutter (Level 3) working a single shift pattern 7am - 16.00pm Monday - Friday.

This role will involve day to day running of the Pre-pack high care area, setting up and taking apart for cleaning the four flow-wrap lines to follow the daily production plan to achieve all planned stocks and orders.

The appointed persons will be responsible for all cutting and packing operations in high care, having close links with planning, Quality Control, Pre-pack Engineering and the Pre-pack management team to ensure packing lines are always running punctually, efficiently and cost effectively. The candidate should easily be able to both take and give instructions and effectively communicate breakdown and downtime issues. The list of duties is not exhaustive.

Knowledge of flow wrapping and fixed weight cheese cutting machines, including PFM's, BG Pack's, Alpma's, Wright Pugson C23's and C52's and current high care processes within a fast-paced FMCG environment are essential. Full training will be given.

This role will eventually also involve completing CCP tests and the use of a computer to input parameters using bespoke software, so adept computer skills are also required.

The ideal candidate must be organised, able to supervise and show leadership, be able to use own initiative, be very methodical and have an eye for detail when following instructions and / or recording results.
