Logistics & Stores Operative

We are seeking a logistics and stores operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting within the logistics and stores team with the flow of goods in and out of the business. If you have experience in this field and possess good organizational skills, and attention to detail we encourage you to apply., Working within the logistics and stores department, packing of parts to specification, booking couriers if required, making customer deliveries, raising delivery notes on internal system, and completing various documentation.

• Assisting in transporting of goods between the two sites so a driving license in essential


• Keeping all working area's clean and tidy


• Unloading deliveries from carrier (folk lift or by hand)


• Visual check and receipt of incoming deliveries


• Dispensing, picking, packing, labelling and allocating kits/components.


• Movement/Transfer of materials/kits to different sites


• Replenishment of consumables throughout the site


• Stocktaking, preparation and full count


• Reporting any low stock - missing stock


• Maintaining good housekeeping particularly within the stores, yard, and despatch areas


• Processing orders for customer, labelling, wrapping, packaging and producing delivery note.
  
  Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred

- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks consistently
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory management processes
- Experience operating forklifts or willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
