Full Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for the post of a band 3 Clerical Technician with the Lymphoedema service. The applicant is expected to have experience in administration in an outpatient department and with patients suffering from chronic conditions, competencies in stock ordering and control., To undertake specific skilled work to assist the specialists in the treatment of patients with Lymphoedema

To administer new patients and provide timely appointments according to diagnosis and communicate accordingly

The successful candidate will be able to work in a team and be self-motivated. In this capacity, the candidate will learn basic skills in lymphoedema management as well as undertaking a clerical/administrative role. Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, which is a key part of the job, will require computer skills and capability. The applicant is expected to work at Ruthin Community Hospital. Travel in the BCU area will also be required

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
