Full Job Description

This role will see you taking responsibility for the day to day operational servicing and repairs to meet our clients' targets for PPM, reactive work and first time fixes. You will be expected to ensure breakdowns & planned preventative maintenance work undertaken is compliant with relevant legislation and guidance including NHS Health Technical memorandums (HTMs), Health Building Notes (HBNs), British Standards, European Standards, whilst developing and managing the departmental risk register.

Job responsibilities

On call 1 in 3 rota is an additional 9.5% on top of salary. On call 1 in 6 rota is an additional 4.5% on top of salary.

Some responsibilities include:

  • Support in the development and implementation of the Estate's Strategy based upon Trust and Atlas' strategic goals.

  • The post holder will undertake fault finding and testing of complex LV networks, critical systems and equipment, such as nurse call equipment and fire alarms. You will be responsible for undertaking fixed electrical installations testing and general inspections.

  • The post holder will undertake fault finding and maintenance of various types of plant and catering equipment such as heated trolleys, dishwashers and AHUs. You will be responsible for carrying various PPM tasks., Responsibility for the day to day servicing and repair maintenance work ensuring that all work

  • This will involve working with trade groups and contractors staff to provide an effective maintenance, repair and installation service, which is responsive to the user's needs and will involve the planning and organising of maintenance activities
