Positively promote the excellent health and safety standards within the home, ensuring the smooth operation of all services, undertaking regular audits and keeping accurate records of tasks undertaken. Ability to prioritise, respond and adopt a positive approach to work.

We are looking for full time Maintenance Person to join our friendly team , the successful candidate will undertake general maintenance tasks within the Nursing Home and for St George's Home Care Clients based in the local community. Driving duties will include outings for Residents and ad hoc pre arranged transportation in St George's disability vehicle for local trips and appointments. You will have a caring nature and have a full, clean driving licence including Category D1, held for a period of at least two years., Multi Trader with experience in: general fault finding, basic repairs to building, furniture and equipment, general DIY and decorating, minor plumbing, joinery, and electrical PAT testing (training course provided)

Previous experience of working in a care home environment preferable but not essential

Physically fit, with strong communication skills, a caring nature, the ability to adapt to the needs of our Clients

The availability for occasional call outs
