Full Job Description

We are looking for a Management Accountant for a 13 month fixed term contract in our Torquay office with 2 days working remotely.

Reports to: Head of Finance

Responsible for: Preparation of monthly management accounts, lead schedules and participation in annual financial audit. Ensuring appropriate financial governance and controls are in place and that all aspects of the accounting function are conducted and monitored in line with legislation and company policy.

Key Responsibilities:

Month End

Produce monthly collections targets

Accruals

Prepayments

PO accruals and matching

Applications and Invoicing reconciliation

Revenue recognition

Profit and Loss review

Fixed Assets Management

Balance Sheet reconciliations

WIP, accrued/deferred income reconciliation

Payroll control accounts review

Quarter End

VAT return prep

Year End

Also:

preparation of lead schedules, liaising with external auditors, providing information and documentation to assist with annual financial audit

Fleet/lease management - HP aspect

Control account management

Data accuracy

Accounting policies.
