Full Job Description

We are looking for a l mechanic to join our workshop team and assist on both Leisure and commercial vessels up to 10 meters.

The main duties will include but not limited to;

  • Service & Repair of inboard and outboard engines

  • General maintenance in preparing boats for launch

  • Breakdown assistance

  • Working on basic electrical systems

  • Working on and maintaining company vehicles

  • Trailer maintenance


    • The main duties will be carried out at our main workshop on Pityme Industrial estate rock. On occasion the candidate may be required to undertake work on the camel estuary. The right candidate will enjoy working outside and may on occasion come into contact with the general public so a polite and helpful disposition is also required. A flexible attitude to work is also needed as hours may vary do to seasonal nature of the business and a willingness to take on a wide variety of duties is also a must.

  • Have experience in basic electrical systems would be an advantage.

  • Have experience working in an marine in environment would be desirable not necessary.

  • NVQ Level 3 in Mechanics or 3 Years experience would be a advantage

  • Full training will be provided.
