Full Job Description

Reporting to the Global Business Development Director, the successful candidate for this role will lead the development of marketing strategy, aligned with the business strategy, to enhance product awareness and attract new customers. You will collaborate closely with our regional operational teams to execute tailored strategies for each region and product.

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement CGG EDA's marketing strategy in alignment with the business strategy.

  • Advise, influence, and guide our regional operational teams, creating tailored marketing strategies for their products and delivering an effective narrative to grow our business.

  • Collaborate with regional teams to conduct in-depth market research and analysis, identifying potential customers and market trends, opportunities, and threats.

  • Innovate ideas to promote our products and services, generating exposure to new potential clients.

  • Oversee the implementation of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, email, and traditional channels.

  • Ensure messaging consistency across EDA and CGG.

  • Provide leadership, direction, and support for colleagues across the business, including communications training for senior team members and other stakeholders.

  • Establish effective marketing KPIs to support sales and client engagement analysis.

    We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Marketing Strategist to join our EDA team!, The ideal candidate will be an experienced Marketing Strategist with:

  • Extensive marketing and communication experience, minimum 5 years.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex ideas persuasively.

  • A creative mindset with a proactive approach.

  • Proven experience and practical knowledge of modern strategic communications.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize, and work to deadlines.

  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills.

  • Proficiency in IT, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.


  • While not essential, understanding the oil and gas industry and/or multi-client products would be beneficial.
