Full Job Description

The level of responsibility for this post is much higher than might be implied by the title.The role of the MHA Administrators Assistant is to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Mental Health Act Administrator. The ability to work without supervision is an important aspect of this post as the position includes covering the duties of the Mental Health Act Administrator in their absence.The post holder will be required to develop a sound operational knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983, including Mental Health Law, Mental Capacity Act and any subsequent legislation., The successful candidate will play an important role within the service to provide efficient administration support and be expected to deliver a comprehensive Administration service to support service delivery.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
