Full Job Description

Are you passionate about supporting young people and want to lead a mental health and wellbeing provision for 11-25 year olds? Can you develop and deliver service pathways to engage young people?
We currently have an exciting position in the organisation for a Mental Health and Wellbeing Worker to join our committed and outcome focussed team.

About the role
In this role you will lead and promote an offer of mental health and wellbeing provision for 11-25 year olds as part of a Mental Health Hub. You will lead the delivery of drop-in and structured group sessions in schools, the community and at Star House, to provide early intervention wellbeing support to children and young people.
You'll be responsible for working closely with schools and community groups. In addition, you will support the engagement of young people and continuously review and improve the programmes to meet their needs. Your role will involve working closely with a range of partner organisations, both voluntary and statutory (including CAMHS and AMHS) to ensure that young people receive the right support at the right time.

Your experience and understanding of the delivery of frontline mental health and wellbeing provision in an evidenced and outcomes-focused environment will be vital to ensure that we can provide the support required by young people. You will also bring experience of developing and managing effective models of assertive engagement to enable the support of young people.
As you would expect, an understanding of safeguarding procedures and referral processes will be essential.
You can find more about how your skills and knowledge can help us to support young people by downloading the job description available on our website., Disability Confident
