Mess Accounts Clerk

We\\'re currently recruiting a dedicated Mess Accounts Clerk to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Defence on a part time basis, contracted to 15 hours per week., As a Mess Accounts Clerk, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of quality work. • Input charges and ensure correct subscriptions are added to relevant mess bills


• Produce all mess bills accurately and dispatch them to correct messes for prompt payment


• Pursue any unpaid bills in accordance with current regulations


• An up to date register of all mess accounts must be maintained


• When required you must produce reports on behalf of the Accounts Manager


• To be fully prepared for and assist the Accounts Managr in all audits


• You will be required to undertake cashing up and banking as required by your manager


• You will ensure that all documents are filed in an orderly manner


• You will be responsible for the reporting of any faults to office equipment when necessary
