Multi-Trade Operative

We have an opportunity for a skilled Multi-Trade Operative to join our Operations Responsive team, based in Hull. As a Multi-Trade operative you will be covering all aspects of general building repairs and maintenance for tenanted properties. We are looking someone with skills in joinery or plastering with some skills in plumbing and groundworks.

The role is mainly lone working with opportunities to work with the wider team as and when required. With a company van and tools included the role will cover Hull and the surrounding areas.

The role of Multi-Trade Operative will include:

• Carrying out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties in line with contract specifications


• Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition


• Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery, by resolving problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed

A basic Disclosure and Barring Service check will be necessary in the event of a successful application which we will pay for.

• To ensure full compliance with Building Safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (carpentry, electrical. If Plumbing Level 3 is required, Unvented - G3 Certificate and Water Regulations (WRAS), currently undertaking the qualification or prepared to undertake this qualification with the support of Sanctuary Group


• Awareness of health and safety regulations and working legislation


• Skills in some of the following disciplines - Plastering, Carpentry and Joinery


• Excellent customer service and communication skills


• Ability to prioritise work loads, work to deadlines and plan ahead


• This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
