Full Job Description

Working for the one of the largest independent Lift business' in the UK, providing a whole host of vertical transport solutions to construction and end users.

The departments focus on Architects, Engineers, Construction Companies, and developers to provide solutions for their projects.

The role will assume responsibility the new lift sales function of Mid to High Spec Projects in the North and Midlands. This will involve a wide range of duties, including new lifts new shaft, complete replacements, and Consultant Specifications.

Main Responsibilities:

· Identifying and acquiring new customers, as well as developing existing customer bases across the region.

· Effectively manging and driving the sales cycle from prospection through to success closure

· Building and maintaining relationships with key customers and accounts for growth and retention

· Managing and leading regional sales teams to achieve sales targets and inspire high performance in line with set KPIs and targets.

· Building strong relationships with key accounts in the region

· Growing a sustainable and robust sales pipeline and ensuring accurate and rigorous forecasting and account planning

· Developing & implementing sales strategies and plans to meet revenue goals.

· Conducting market research and competitor analysis in the region

· Prepare regular reports and conduct BI weekly meetings to review performance.

· Representing the company at regional events and trade shows.

· Analysing market trends and competitors' activities in the region.

· Developing and managing regional sales budgets and expenses.

Main Duties:

· Promotes the sale of lifts by maintaining and expanding customer base and managing the sales team and personal sales targets.

· Accomplishes regional sales human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees in assigned region.

· Communicates job expectations by planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions and employee enforcing policies and procedures.

· Plans and reviews compensation strategies to recover a territory within your respective region.

· Achieves regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.

· Prepares and completes action plans and implements production, productizing, quality, and customer service standards.

· Resolves problems, completes audits, identifies trends, determines regional sales system improvements, and implements change when necessary.

· Meets regional sales objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances, and initiating corrective actions.

· Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for territories in support of national objectives.

· Maintains and expands customer base by supporting their reporting sales representatives, building, and maintaining rapport with key customers, and identifying new customer opportunities.

· Recommends product lines by identifying new product, packaging, and service changes, surveying consumer needs and trends, and tracking competitors.

Sheridan Lifts are looking for an experienced individual with the skill set to support and develop the day-to-day sales process within our New Lifts Sales department. The individual must be efficient organised and motivated to form part of an established sales team.
