Full Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for an NPD Team Leader to join our team in Desborough. We're looking for someone with strong leadership skills to manage and inspire our NPD team, while also focusing on training and development to ensure our team members are equipped with the skills they need to succeed. About the role: Providing guidance and supporting, fostering a collaborative and high performing team environment, developing team members to ensure that they have the necessary skills and resource. Being a point of escalation for the NPD Hub, whilst ensuring the Team: - Maintain Customer trackers; - Update CRM databases with key
information; - Follow the full onboarding process in a timely manner. - Monitoring KPI's and producing monthly reporting/presentation packs - Regularly review processes/procedures and documents/updates as required in line with needs of the business. - Managing team resource/workloads - accountable for ensuring all work is completed accurately and within agreed timelines, in accordance with SLA's. - Continuously evaluating and propose amendments to processes to ensure business needs are met as it grows, creating a scalable and adaptable team where all activities make us 'easy to deal with'. - Producing documented processes that ensure continuity of the NPD Hub - Key point of communication for all stakeholders (both internal and external) involved in the new product development process. - Ensure all steps of the NPD process are completed in a timely manner. - Feeding back progress to customer/internal stakeholders via verbal and written format. - Working to customer launch
dates, seek necessary structural/graphics approvals from the customer and manage the order and delivery of formes and stereos to sites. - Communicating upcoming new orders/projects throughout the commercial functions and wider business. - Managing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and associated documents. - Building and maintaining interdepartmental relationships, fostering effective working relationships with Operations and Sales to ensure positive stakeholder experiences. - General people management responsibilities, including engagement, absence, conduct and capability.

Interpretation technical documentation such as structural drawings, artworks, etc. - Familiarity with Fefco styles, machine routings and material compositions. - Team player willing to drive other staff in delivering the customer's requirements. - Highly motivated and flexible to deal with constantly changing demands with a fast-paced production environment. - Working autonomously and able to manage own workload. - Ability and confidence to clearly communicate in written and verbal format with internal staff, customers and external suppliers. - Competent user of Microsoft Office applications. - Competent user of SAP business system.
