Full Job Description

  • Safeguarding and wellbeing of all children

  • Following the nurseries policies and procedures

  • Making sure all of the children's needs are met to a high standard

  • Playing with the children and getting to know them and their next steps

  • Making snacks

  • Working as a team

  • Having an input in the planning of the daily activities

  • Nappy changing (a full enhanced DBS will be done before you start the job)

  • The general daily cleaning of the nursery

  • Wiping faces and cleaning noses

  • Making sure the children are happy and comforted


  • The training you will be getting

  • Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship Standard, which includes End-Point Assessment (EPA)

  • Paediatric First Aid qualification

  • Relevant training will be provided through Lancaster and Morecambe College, A permanent job once qualified, a chance to climb the ladder to room leader or a specific role e.g. SENCO

  • Once qualified, the wage does increase

    We are looking for someone to join our team and learn to our high standards along the way. We are looking to for highly motivated individuals who work well as a team and enjoy giving their input. We are a very friendly team who want to take someone under our wing., Communication skills, Team working, Love for children, Time Management skills, GCSE or equivalent English (Grade C/4) Essential

  • GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade C/4) Essential

We try and make sure everyone has an input with things like the planning etc if they wish, new ideas are always welcome.
