One of a team Technical Representatives reporting to the Business Development Manager

JOB DIMENSIONS

To engage at customer /branch level on a daily basis with technical OB1 range demonstrations.

The role will involve enrolment in an apprenticeship sales course

ACTIVITIES

· To drive sales through product demonstration to end users within branch of Sealant and adhesives

products

· To complete a minimum of 2 individual demonstration 1 in morning and 1 in afternoon

· To build and maintain strong relationships within branches

· To train branch staff of the F&B of the products

· To ensure products are presented well in store

· To implement staff incentive schemes and promotions to drive sales

· To update the CRM system on a daily basis

· To undertake administrative duties

· To undertake a programme of Personal Skill Development

CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT

The role operates in a highly competitive, dynamic and innovative environment. The role is field based , without

direct supervision, and thus requires a high degree of self motivation. The job holder must meet and interact

confidently with customers, and represent the company in a professional capacity at all times.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

To secure listings, shelf space, demonstrations are secured/completed combining to achieve demonstration targets for

the geographical area. Whilst maintaining optimum customer relations on an ongoing basis.

A degree is not essential however, Maths and English to GCSE B/C is essential. Good product and market

knowledge with the ability to understand technical standards and requirements. Must have a broad understanding

of customers businesses and associated issues. Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills. The job holder

must be able to be flexible, plan and organise the workload with a professional self-motivated approach to the

role. Must be computer literate and have a strong knowledge of MS Office.
