Location: Newbury +

  • Hybrid (on-site 4 days a week)

  • Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
    Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week - Mon to Fri

    What you'll do

    As part of the Office IT team, the Office IT Engineer will provide high quality and professional support to internal and external system users with any Office IT related queries and support they may require. This role is responsible for second line support through ticket-based management through to completion.

  • You will provide support to internal and external system users in person and/or virtually.

  • You will provide second line support to the internal and external system users via a ticket system.

  • You will support onboarding into the business with initial laptop set up.

  • You will manage the recovery of all returned devices and ensure accurate asset records are kept.

  • You will build and distribute devices as well as perform hardware recycling activities.

  • You will contribute to the management of the shared mailbox.


  • Who you are

  • You will have a strong understanding of Microsoft Operating Systems.

  • You will have a strong understanding and experience of laptop and desktop hardware maintenance (Lenovo & Dell is preferable).

  • You will have experience working in a customer facing position with great interpersonal and communication skills.

  • You will possess attention to detail with the ability to manage time and meet tight deadlines.

  • You will be confident working collaboratively and able to interface with people of all levels.
