Full Job Description

The Office Services Operator will provide a professional print and mail room service together with scanning courier records services to all employees and contractors. You will assist the client to meet deadlines and produce a high standard of work, putting the customer/client first and foremost.,

  • Scan all incoming mail and couriers to the clients

  • Print and copy documents for the client making sure work is quality checked and sent back correctly

  • Deal with incoming post

  • Sort and scan everything and e-mail to the relevant departments

  • Deal with outgoing post

  • Book couriers and deal with incoming couriers quickly and efficiently

  • Assist in records and archives tasks when required

  • Build relationship with clients and manage their perceptions and expectations

  • Support colleagues and work as a team in order to achieve the best results for clients

  • Comply with departmental procedures

  • Assist with stationery, check and stock cupboards and record items that need ordering

    A willing and enthusiastic attitude

  • Good PC skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Previous Post room and Reprographics experience would be preferable but not essential

  • Good customer service skills

  • Able to think outside the box and make decisions if required in the absence of the Team Leader or Senior Operator

  • Able to handle difficult situations well and to act appropriately

  • Display an adaptable and flexible approach

  • Team player - not only within their team but personable and will help out wherever required to get the job done
