Full Job Description

This is an exciting time to join ION where you will be joining a specialist team. As our resilience reporting lead, you will be responsible for implementing the operational resilience reporting across ION Markets.
The successful candidate will have a track record and hands experience of developing, reporting and analytics for risk and/or operational Resilience.
Experience of dynamic reporting across a large multi-national company. Ideally from a financial services background, the successful candidate will have a technical background and ability to configure software and reporting capabilities. Focused primarily on operational resilience the successful candidate will play a key role in designing the operational structure and management for business resilience.
They will be responsible for management and reporting of all aspects of operational resilience from supporting the mapping of business-critical business services and aligning with industry best practice and regional regulatory requirements.
The role holder will work as part of the Operational Resilience function and will contribute to broader resilience/BCP, and crisis management work delivered by the Head of Operational Resilience.,

  • Play a leading role in reporting the maturity of the operational resilience programme and associated risks.

  • Be versed in setting up and managing governance and steering committee meetings and reporting status of operational resilience.

  • Create and Oversee the training of ION staff members on the Fusion software tool (operational resilience tool).

  • Create a database and management structure for monitoring ION's critical 3rd parties within the risk management framework.

  • Manage and configure updates and operational improvements to the resilience software tool (Fusion RM)

  • Manage and configure data feeds for the Operational resilience tool to ensure the accuracy and content of the data meets ION requirements.

  • Be responsible for the administration of Fusion.

  • Create and prepare Operational resilience, BCP, ITDR reports for the head of operational Resilience and the ELT

  • Lead the Operational Resilience response for client requests for information, aligning with business and support functions.

  • Liaise with technical teams to develop IT Disaster recovery reporting and risk status.

  • Create a controls frameworks for monitoring and measuring the operational resilience programme.

  • Contribute to horizon scanning, scenario and strategic risk analysis to help identify, quantify, evaluate and plan for potential future reputation and policy risks within the context of the company strategy and positioning.

  • Collaborate effectively with other senior internal stakeholders and develop escalation frameworks from incident to crisis management across IT, BCP, communication and vendor management stakeholders.

    Has experience in a risk and/or operational resilience function.

  • Has prior experience of organising and managing risk committees and reporting functions.

  • Is a strong strategic thinker with the ability and skill set to see the bigger picture as well as understand the nuance and details across different parts of the company.

  • Has hands on experience of managing software tools and the implementation and maintenance of, ideally in the risk space.

  • Experience of training staff members and business areas on the use of software tools for operational resilience and how to best configure.

  • Can create training manuals to support staff implementation for the software tool.

  • Will manage client queries and requests for information on all aspects of operational resilience.

  • Has experience in managing a controls environment and reporting process for a risk function or similar.

  • Technically proficient, with the ability to manage data feeds and configurations for the required interfaces in operational resilience.

  • Will capture all data for operational resilience and be able to create reports for both internal reporting, audit/regulatory reporting and client reporting.

  • Has prior experience of interacting with stakeholders from different territories/markets to identify geographical/local risks and support on preparation/management as needed.

  • Possesses excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills; able to listen to and engage effectively with senior network/global leaders during times when emotions and risks are high.

  • Has a proven track record of handling confidential information with sensitivity, integrity and good judgement.
