Full Job Description
We have a new opportunity to join our Operations Team as an Operations Assistant/Supervisor based in our Marks Tey office. Reporting directly to the Yard manger, the ideal candidate will be a team player and a good communicator.,
- Arranging for third party pallet collections.
- Raising claims for transport damages.
- Liaising with customers.
- General ad-hoc office duties.
- Speaking with transport companies.
- Communicating with customers in a professional and timely manner.
- Picking and packing sample orders.
- Amending our systems with the required updates
- Updating Logistics KPI's
- Raising Manufacturing Orders for the Warehouse team
- Any additional administration tasks as required
- Offer any operational feedback to support improvements to the Quality Management System
At least 3 years of recent customer service/operations experience. - A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
- Customer service: 3 years (required)
- Logistics: 3 years (required)
- English (required)
- Driving Licence (preferred)

- At least 3 years logistics experience.
- Proficient in computer usage, with good typing skills and familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Similar background/Industry experience.
- Communication skills.
- Able to speak to customers over the phone or face to face in a professional manner.
- Experience in dealing with transport companies.
- Experience in Odoo system would be an advantage
- Previous experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel is essential.
- This role requires an organised individual with an exceptional attention to detail and can work under pressure at times
- A team player.
- Ability to communicate effectively both inside the business and externally.
- Must have the ability to adapt to ever changing procedures.
