We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Director to join our business. The primary purpose of this role is to take full operational, commercial, and budgetary responsibility for the management of the Heathrow and Travel portfolio across multiple locations in the Aviation and Travel business working through the site management teams to ensure that all performance targets are achieved and exceeded.

  • Responsible for the delivery of key operating measures and Account Profitability and develop and agree the operational budget and deliver against budget.

  • Ensure that operational service levels are met and exceeded through the achievement of contractual Key Performance Indicators.

  • Customer facing role as required to listen, understand, and work on operational solutions and potential service enhancements.

  • Existing operations - Cost control, Productivity, Added value services, Relationship management, Account planning, Management, and employee development.

  • Support Account Development with client presentations, monthly/ quarterly reviews, and presentation materials.

  • Through the Site Managers, manage the local relationship with the recognised Trade Union to ensure that all negotiations are achieved within budget levels and that day to day working relationship remains positive and harmonious with no negative effect on contract operations.

  • Heathrow Airport Operational experience, advantageous.

  • Extensive experience in Operational roles at a senior level.

  • Previous Aviation and Travel experience, advantageous.

  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills with experience of customer relationship management at a senior level.

  • Strategic and analytical thinking capability with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Continuous improvement knowledge and experience.
