This is an exciting time to join this expanding service as it seeks to further develop its well-established and nationally renowned hub (BEH) and bespoke (outreach sites) service delivery model.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative team comprising of Consultants, specialty and Trust grade Doctors, Fellows, specialty trainees, Nurse Practitioners, Orthoptists, Optometrists and a substantial team of Ophthalmic Nurses, Technicians and Healthcare assistants.
The UHBW ophthalmology service prides itself on its commitment to high quality treatment for all our patients and offers a friendly, supportive environment that values individuals and supports their personal and professional development., The post holder will support the Ophthalmic Imaging and Outpatient teams for the provision and overall smooth running of our clinical services.
After the necessary training and induction, the post holder will be responsible for the effective and efficient maintenance of a comprehensive angiography, imaging and photography service to Bristol Eye Hospital. They should be able to prioritise and plan their own workload, and have the ability to work independently as well as working closely and supervising other members of the team.
The post holder will work as part of the multi-disciplinary Ophthalmic team at Bristol Eye Hospital providing a high quality medical photography service across a variety of sub-specialties including glaucoma, medical retina, corneal and oculoplastic.
Please note that the post will involve working at the service's outreach services as required, and may occasionally involve weekend working., welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
