In this new role of Packaging and Process Technologist Intern, you will require a strong passion for data and numerical analysis. We are seeking candidates with excellent Excel skills and who are comfortable using it on a day to day basis. This position is integral to our operations, embodying a multifaceted role that necessitates collaboration with a diverse array of stakeholders. As a vital member of our team, you will engage with various departments including Quality, Health & Safety (H&S), Operations, Planning, and Engineering. Main Responsibilities:

As a pivotal member of Ferrero's team in the Packaging and Process Technologist Internship, you will embark on a journey that marries innovation with tradition, working closely with New Product Development teams, as well as local and central Research & Development (R&D), and packaging deployment teams. Your role is to transform creative concepts into tangible products across our manufacturing sites, a task that demands not just skill but a passion for excellence.

Your responsibilities extend to collaborating with Ferrero's R&D teams to establish precise specifications that safeguard the hallmark of our production quality. This effort is critical in maintaining the integrity and reputation of Ferrero's products in the global market. Furthermore, you will be at the forefront of Continuous Improvement efforts, identifying and implementing innovative solutions for packaging, manufacturing, or production equipment, as well as optimizing existing processes.

Ensuring the highest standards of quality in all Ferrero's packing and manufacturing processes falls under your purview. You will maintain rigorous control, ensuring that every product meets the esteemed Ferrero quality before it reaches consumers. Compliance with Ferrero's strict guidelines during the introduction of new products is paramount, requiring your attention to detail and adherence to protocols.

You will also lead the charge in organising and managing production trials and tests, a critical step towards the successful industrialization of new products. Part of this role involves addressing any arising issues, providing invaluable feedback for review and corrective actions. Producing detailed trial reports will be a routine task, capturing essential data that feeds back into Ferrero's continuous improvement cycle.

Lastly, your engagement with local departments to troubleshoot and resolve any manufacturing or packing process issues is vital. This collaborative approach ensures a seamless operation across all levels of production. Additionally, you will facilitate the integration and industrialization of new equipment or tooling, marking significant milestones in Ferrero's journey of innovation and quality.
