Parachute Packer

As a Parachute Packer, you will be responsible for the maintenance of Airborne Systems Parachute Assemblies as directed by the Team Leader, in accordance with the MOD Air Publications.

Parachute Packer Responsibilities:

• The maintenance of Airbourne Forces Equipment in accordance with MOD Air Publications / IrvinGQ KP


• To meet daily set targets


• Promote a positive working environment.


• To sit oral/written/practical tests at the end of each training module.


• Control of tools within teams and departments (tool board) in accordance with the Business Management System


• To comply with the company quality policy


• Quality compliance with the IrvinGQ Business Management System


• Ensure superior housekeeping of work area in accordance with the Business Management System


• All Health & Safety practices and risk assessments are adhered to.


• To represent IrvinGQ in the support of various trial and detachment activities if required.

• Excellent level of manual dexterity


• Able to follow drawings and written instructions.


• Capable of Lifting up to 15 kgs as an individual and 30 kgs with additional support
