Patient Care & Prescription Coordinator

Job Summary Ensure an effective and efficient reception service is provided to patients and any other visitors to the practice. Deal with all general enquiries, explain procedures. Signpost new and follow-up appointments by telephone and online consult to manage an efficient appointment service Process post, scanning and accurate coding of documents. Process prescription requests in accordance with the current repeat prescribing protocol. Receive prescription queries from patients, pharmacies and all members of staff, and to understand who to approach for help. Liaise with pharmacies regarding queries, updating them on medication changes to blister packs, and arranging any urgent action required.
