Full Job Description
- Process fortnightly payroll from timesheets using Sage 50 Payroll (approx 160 employees)
- Do pension assessment (NEST)
- Enter all payments and send to bank for payment
- Print out all reports for fortnightly payroll
- Send out payslips
- Send NEST pension correspondence to employees
- Update Sage payroll, process leavers, send full payment submission to HMRC
- Upload pension files to NEST
- Send payment summary reports and breakdown
- New starters and leavers with dates
- Enter holiday dates and check entitlements
- Deal with statutory entitlements
- Follow up outstanding items for new employees, including DBS checks
- Deal with correspondence and queries from employees
- Deal with attachment of earnings orders
- Confirmation of wage increases for employees
- Filing
- Calculate total monthly tax and NI payment for HMRC
- Process payroll year end
- Deal with pension re-enrolment (every 3 years)
- Sort out payroll reports and leavers information to be destroyed after 7 years
- Administration - emails, answering telephone etc.
The successful candidate will be motivated and have a can-do attitude. - Strong payroll administrator experience
- Experience of Sage Payroll
- Good communication skills
- The ability to meet deadlines and run reports.

£25,000 - £28,000 a year - Permanent, Full-time
You will have over 2 years of experience in a similar role.
