Full Job Description
- Preparation of new vehicles in accordance with set PDI schedules for client fleets
- Preparation of new and used vehicles in accordance with manufactures specification
- Ensure warranty claims are completed in line with warranty best working practices
- Diagnose and rectify vehicle issues using the latest diagnostic techniques
- Constructive liaison with workshop team members in problem solving whilst working to
- deadlines
- Carryout servicing and repairs to all types of vehicles in line with manufactures maintenance
- Schedules and repair operations
- Train, coach and assist less experienced technicians and trainees
- Highly motivated with a strong focus on quality
Recognised vehicle apprenticeship training - Successful completion of manufacturers training courses and proven ability to apply learning in the working environment
- Knowledge of diagnostic equipment
- Ability to accurately diagnose & repair vehicles to manufacturers repair times
- Minimum 2 years experience within a workshop environment
- Full UK driving licence
- Positive and flexible attitude to work
- Good basic PC skills and ability to construct accurate reports and job card write-ups
- To remain flexible and willing to adapt to changing circumstances
- To complete work using the 'right first time' approach thereby protecting departmental profitability
