PQShield is looking for a People Team Administrator for a 12 month FTC Maternity cover starting May/June

PQShield stands as a pioneer in post-quantum cryptography, safeguarding digital communication in the age of quantum computing. We've helped shape all of the first international PQC NIST standards, and we were the first cybersecurity company to develop quantum-safe cryptography on chips, in applications, and in the cloud.

We have been established since 2018, so you would be directly working with the founders and inventors of this deep tech startup. The technology is already a couple of years in the making, its feasibility having been established, funding secured, and it has a clear path to market. This is a great opportunity for career progression and to get a head start in a rapidly expanding segment of the semiconductor industry (Post-Quantum Cryptography and RISC-V).

️ What you'll be doing

  • Onboarding Management:

  • Coordinate onboarding process post-acceptance of verbal offers, including background checks and contract issuance.

  • Utilise GH and hiBob platforms to hire, create profiles, and activate onboarding tasks.

  • Schedule onboarding meetings, induction sessions, and buddy assignments.

  • Oversee documentation uploads, benefits activation, and onboarding automations review/update.

  • Off-boarding Procedures:

  • Manage employee status changes in Bob and facilitate access revocation to platforms.

  • Coordinate notifications to IT, payroll, and relevant departments upon employee departure.

  • Training Oversight:

  • Monitor completion of Ihasco training and manage LinkedIn Learning licence assignments.

  • Upload training materials to LearningHub and ensure event records are updated.

  • Ad-hoc Support:

  • Process visa requests and track expiration dates, triggering reminders as needed.

  • Handle employee inquiries, conduct surveys, and assist with policy creation/review.

  • Manage employee relations cases and provide support for payroll in multiple countries.

    Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a People Administrator or in a related role within HR Operations.

  • Strong passion for automating workflows to streamline processes.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

  • Previous experience working with HR Information Systems (HRIS) platforms.

  • Pursuing or holding qualifications such as CIPD or similar HR certifications.
