Full Job Description
Personal Assistant required for a happy and lively 14-year-old girl who lives in the Bodmin area.
She has right Hemiplegia and she would like someone who she can build up a positive relationship with and provide her with some 1:1 support.
She would like someone to support her with accessing the community using her electric wheelchair and using public transport. She enjoys social events.
A personal assistant will enable her to enjoy activities in her local community.
Up to 8 hours per week are available, although this is very flexible.
Some evenings, weekends and school holiday availability will be required.
Car driver preferred but not essential.
Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people with special educational needs is preferred.
The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
