Personal Care Assistant - JW / Dorset / 040123DT4

The Role: To provide support to an active gentleman living in Weymouth, who has sustained a severe head injury from a climbing accident that, has affected his speech and mobility.

Main Duties:

· To support with rehabilitation - All training is provided

· To assist with getting into bed safely

· To maintain a clean and safe home environment

· Supervision during personal care occasionally

· Meal preparation and meal tidy up

· To assist with the wheelchair and other equipment, Please note, Compass Disability Services (Compass Independent Living Team) is a support, advisory and payroll service.

Hours: Variable Monday - Sunday, to be agreed with the Employer

(Occasional extra shifts to be covered, for other PA's sickness and annual leave) Occasional sleepovers also required, as and when.

Currently needed:

Tuesday 13:00 - 16:00

Wednesday 12:00 - 16:00

Thursday 13:00 - 16:00

Friday 11:00 - 16:00 and 5.30-9.30

Saturday 15:00 - 18:00

Sunday 8:00 - 14:00

Bank staff required to cover every other Saturday 18:00 - 22:00 when needed.

Pay: £13.50 (weekdays), £16.00 (weekends), sleepovers from 22:00-7:00 at a rate of £90.00 per sleepover.
