Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprentice OCTAVIAN HEALTHCARE LIMITED

Our community-based Pharmacy in Retford is hoping to recruit a determined individual as an Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant.

Duties include:

• Dispensing medications under supervision.


• General admin.


• Serving patients over the counter.


• Using the shop till.


• Dealing with over the counter and telephone queries.


• Using the pharmacy computer system.


• Dealing with stock deliveries.


• Stock management.


• Ensuring pharmacy shop shelves are replenished.


• Date checking of stock.


• Processing NHS prescriptions.


• General shop cleaning and maintenance., General Pharmaceutical Council.


• Functional Skills maths and English Level 1 and/or Level 2, as appropriate.


• Training will take place at the workplace - no need to travel to a college.
  
  Communication skills, IT skills, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Team working, Able to work under pressure, Punctual, Hardworking, Friendly, GCSE or equivalent English (Grade A-C/9-4) Essential

GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade A
• -C/9-4) Essential, Standing for the majority of your working day. Being able to lift boxes of incoming stock.
  
  You could reduce your training time, or finish your apprenticeship faster, if you have relevant prior learning or experience. This could be relevant:
