Full Job Description

A rare exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, passionate and motivated physiotherapist with diverse range of clinical skills to join Devon Partnership Trust. This role is a permanent 22.5 hour position. This role can be offered with a flexible working pattern to support someone wishing to continue another clinical position alongside this role or to complement a good work life balance or other personal commitments. This role would not include weekend working or shift working.

We are encouraging applications from experienced physiotherapists who have a varied clinical background, with excellentassessment and treatment skills, as well as excellent communication skills and are enthusiastic about promoting physical health and championing the fantastic role that physiotherapy plays within an MDT.

The role will require you to confidently work both independently and as part of a team with older adults with a wide range of complex physical and mental health needs, completing thorough assessments and providing evidence-based treatment programmes as well as running exercise groups and 1 to 1 rehab sessions.

As part of this role you will be responsible for the provision of a quality and responsive Physiotherapy service across the site. You will become an important part of the longstanding multidisciplinary team working to ensure that every patient receives high quality care. This is a great opportunity to join our inpatient team on Meadow View Ward which is based on North Devon District Hospitals site. Meadow View is an inpatient unit that provides assessment and treatment for older people with severe mental health needs, such as depression, anxiety and psychosis. The role involves working closely as part of an established Multidisciplinary Team and recovery is at the heart of everything we do - it is about people building a meaningful life and represents a shift away from focusing on illness and symptoms towards a focus on personal health, strengths and wellness.
