Physiotherapist Assistant

You will carry a specialist clinical caseload, delivering Physiotherapy assessment and treatment to adults who have a Learning Disability and complex physical and neurological problems; alongside a Senior Physiotherapist and also independently complete delegated tasks.

The candidate will be required to have a full driving licence and access to a car for employment, due to the community aspect of service provision including equipment.

  We are looking for a highly experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapy Assistant Practitioner with a varied background in adults with a Learning Disabilities and Physiotherapy service experience; to join our skilled and friendly specialist Physiotherapy team.


Improving physical health for people who have a Learning Disability continues to be a strong focus for our Learning Disability services. You will contribute to the delivery of high quality, safe care and will support the development of clinical pathways that meet national Learning Disability guidance within the organisation.,
• experience of supporting LD clients or similar caseload


• previous experience of assistant physio role


• relevant qualification


• Valid UK Driving licence and access to a car for employment purpose, supporting LD clients or similar caseload: 1 year (required)


Licence/Certification:

• UK Driving licence/access to a car for employment purpose (required)


• previous experience of assistant physio role or equivalent (required)


• Technical Qualifications e.g. City and Guilds, NVQ3, BTEC (required)

Pay: £25,147.00-£27,596.00 per year
