Full Job Description

We are looking for a Plant Mechanic / Fitter to maintain and repair a wide range of construction plant.
The role is for a workshop-based mechanic/fitter based at our brand new Depot and Yard at Aston Clinton.
This job requires someone who is flexible, motivated, focused, and a team player. We are offering a stable, long-term position in a growing company that is investing substantially in new equipment and staff training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Servicing and repairing plant.

  • Regularly inspecting engines, gearboxes and hydraulics.

  • Identifying faults and repairing or replacing faulty parts.

  • Reassembling parts and testing them.

  • Carrying out routine servicing of plant and equipment.

  • Using hand and power tools and specialist equipment.

    NVQ Level 2 Minimum

  • Previous experience in a similar role.

  • Must be experienced on all makes of vehicles and plant, for service, inspection and repair.

  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.

  • Be able to prioritise, multitask and use initiative.

  • Driving License
