Full Job Description
Acting as first point of contact for a portfolio of clients
- Preparing / reviewing statutory accounts for sole traders, limited companies and partnerships
- Assisting with training and managing junior accountants
- Completing / reviewing VAT returns
- Preparing tax returns
- Assisting clients with day-to-day queries
- Ad hoc client work
Are you a part qualified or recently qualified accountant who has worked in a practice and looking for an exciting new challenge to take their career to the next level?, The ideal candidate will currently be working as an accountant (or a qualified accountant looking to make the step to senior accountant) at a small / medium sized practice with at least 3 years practice experience. They will want a client-facing role working with an exciting client base and great opportunities for progression.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must:
- Be ACCA / ACA / CIMA qualified or part qualified
- Have a minimum of 3 years' experience at a UK accountancy firm
- Have extensive experience of preparing year end accounts
- Have experience with dealing with a portfolio of clients,
- A-Level or equivalent (required)
- Accounting: 3 years (required)

Salary £35k to £42k (depending on experience) plus quarterly team and individual performance bonuses.
