Full Job Description

We are recruiting an additional Process Improvement Leader to join our Quality team in Rotherham. This is an exciting opportunity to join Cepac to contribute and support our ongoing success and future expansion plans.

The main purpose of the role is to:

  • Establish best practice through skills development, monitoring, and process improvement.

  • Ensure process improvement by means of testing, verification, and development.

  • Ensure conformance to quality, safety, and hygiene standards on a routine basis.

  • Assist with route cause analysis and develop the current systems.


  • Candidates should meet/have the following person requirements for the role:
  • Ensure that process monitoring, and quality assurance are undertaken within the shift.

  • Engage closely with operators and production staff to improve and drive quality standards.

  • Actively participate in root cause analysis for complaints and internal issues

  • Participate and contribute to quality meetings and reviews to drive new initiatives to increase the site's quality and BRC standards.

  • Foster a strong relationship with production shifts.

  • Highlight any areas of non-conformance and to carry out relevant preventative action and process improvements.

  • Conduct performance testing of raw material and finished product.

  • Ensure the management systems procedures are followed.

  • Carry out internal audits, including product safety and quality audits.

  • Produce and maintain quality related documents and reports.

  • Conduct and promote Quality Awareness Training


  • The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working in a quality/process improvement environment and have knowledge of hygiene awareness, with the ability to compile hygiene and quality reports. You will also have good numeracy skills with an excellent eye for detail, strong communications skills both written and verbal with a high level of self-motivation. You will be able to multi-task whilst remaining organised and efficient with experience of using Microsoft Office Suite such as Word, Excel and Outlook.

    The role is office based in Rotherham, working the 3-shift rotating system over 3 weeks on nights (10pm-6am), afters (2pm-10pm) and days (6am-2pm) and weekend working when on the day pattern to support the production team.
