Full Job Description
The Product Management team is responsible for identifying and launching products and services that meet the market requirement and deliver revenue and profitability, whilst maintaining compliance. You will ensure that products and services are launched successfully, and their performance and sales maximised. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of your product portfolio and support the different business channels with their product related requirements. Sourcing suppliers, negotiating terms and developing and finalising contracts is also a key part of the role.
There will be frequent travel across the UK with overnight stays., Develop the 6 monthly roadmap for your product area.
In line with product launch guidelines, successfully launch factory developed products and services to maximise commercial success.
Identify local products and services that complement and enhance our offer, maximising their commercials success.
Identify suppliers, develop specification, ensure compliance of products, negotiate terms and carry out contract work to ensure Sharp's legal requirements are met.
Develop and utilise a dashboard of performance metrics on which continuous improvements are made for your product area.
Ensure that all agreed products, services & suppliers are compliant with Sharp standards in order to mitigate against any liabilities.
Act as a positive ambassador for the function building positive and effective relationships across the business.
Work closely with all sales channels, sales order processing, business planning, legal and finance to ensure products meet the organisation's requirement across each function.
Support or European Solutions Business Centre and factory with any product planning and development requests.
This is an ideal role for a Product Manager with a minimum 2 years' experience in a technology company, however all applicants will be considered.
