Full Job Description
- Ensuring all safe systems of work and standard operating procedures are always adhered to in Health & Safety, Production and Quality, as set out by the company
- Complete all related paperwork and input data accurately
- Be able to operate the machine after training completed
- Ensure the housekeeping of the machine and working area, is maintained, in line with the company standard
- Working on a production line
- Stacking products
- Quality inspection
- Identify areas of improvements and work in a proactive manner
- No qualifications required but previous experience in manufacturing / machine operator is essential, working with wood is desirable
- Must be able to demonstrate:
- Positive "can do" attitude, and flexible to work on a variety of different sections within the department when required
- The ability to be thorough and pay attention to detail is key
- Working well with others in a small team is a regular part of the role
- Patience and the ability to work well during busy production periods
- The ability to accept direction and work without constant supervision
- Physical skills like movement, coordination and dexterity
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Good reading and writing skills are essential, Disability Confident
