Full Job Description

We are looking for a Programme Manager who can oversee the day to day delivery and overall performance of the West London Alliance UK Shared Prosperity Fund Pilot programme. Combining vision and direction with strong relationship building and people management skills, you will take accountability for project performance across our own delivery. You will need to have an understanding of Social Prescribing and of Individual Placement and Support (IPS). This programme incorporates a targeted employment model, framed by the IPS principles, and works specifically with young people with special educational needs or a disability (SEND) (including those with and without Education, Health and Care Plans) and vulnerable adults with a disability. It also extends to support the employability needs of their direct inactive family/carers, targeting those known to Adult Social Care.

You will be responsible for managing Team Leaders which will involve providing regular supervision around social prescribing and IPS practice issues, as well as support around complex staffing or caseload issues. You will also manage Community Engagement Officers who will build partnerships with community based services, Further Education colleges, academies, specialist schools/colleges adult social services, specialist providers, employment providers in order to build relationships for referrals and on-going support for participants of the programme.

Your role will also involve building and maintaining relationships and partnerships with stakeholders and commissioners, ensuring the programme in integrated within the local provision.

+ Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience
+ Relevant previous contract or project management experience focused on supporting performance, quality and compliance
+ Experience of achievement in a target-driven environment and ability to drive performance through focused performance management
+ Ability to build positive internal and external relationships
+ Ability to problem solve and respond appropriately to a variety of situations
