We are recruiting Project Development Engineers in Warwick, London and our South Region (London & South East, M4 corridor - Bristol to Reading, South Coast, South West & Wales).

We manage the end-to-end connections process, from customer application to energisation. Our wide-ranging customer portfolio includes everything from interconnectors and offshore wind farms to battery storage and data centres.

As a Project Development Engineer, you will be at the heart of a variety of works. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, designing and developing to budget and deadline, with safety at the heart of everything you do.

What you'll be doing

Day-to-day activities will vary throughout the project lifecycle. Some days you may be undertaking surveys in an operational substation, other days you may be in the office, reviewing customer connection applications or tendering submissions from the supply chain. Every day you'll be making a significant contribution to a greener energy future.

  • Knowledge of civil/construction engineering principles.

  • An understanding of engineering software and tools for design, analysis, and simulations.

  • Skills in electrical engineering principles, processes and network design, asset maintenance.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors.

  • The ability to seek customer feedback to assess satisfaction levels and identify any areas for improvement.

  • Knowledge and skills in project planning, project delivery and financial controls.

  • An Engineering degree is desirable

  • A driving licence that permits you to drive in the UK.

  • A competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
