Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for the project, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Contract Management: Oversee all aspects of contract management, including early contractor involvement, to ensure compliance with NEC 4 regulations and contractual agreements.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including contractors, government agencies, and local communities, to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.
Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes to ensure that project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Resource Management: Manage project resources, including budget, personnel, and equipment, to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor project performance against key metrics and milestones, making adjustments as necessary to ensure project success.
Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to lead a major NEC 4 Highways Scheme. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in controlling early contractor involvement and managing work streams to ensure the successful delivery of the project., Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly in the highways sector.
Extensive knowledge of NEC 4 contract regulations and best practices.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on achieving project objectives in a timely and cost-effective manner.
PMP or PRINCE2 certification is desirable.
