Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Project Officer, who has experience of collaboratively working with a range of key partners, to use their skills to set the direction of projects which will improve our offer to, and care of, some of the most vulnerable people within our Borough.

Are you a skilled communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with a range of stakeholders?

If this sounds like you, why not come and join Bolton Council's Commissioning Team and help us transform services and support for the people of Bolton., We are looking for a highly motivated, organised and energetic person with good interpersonal skills who can quickly forge strong productive relationships within a multi-disciplinary environment.

You will have a track record of successfully delivering multiple projects within the health, social care, or VCSE sectors including experience of effectively identifying, tracking and managing project risk/interdependencies. You will have excellent analytical skills and the ability to develop creative and innovative solutions. You will also have exceptional IT skills, particularly in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.

You will have a positive attitude to change, and a desire to develop and drive service improvements. Although you will be working as part of a team you will also have the confidence and ability to effectively frame and manage your own workload., This post is a designated customer facing role under the fluency duty and requires a specified level of spoken English as per the person specification.

The two posts are in the following sections:

  • 1 x 37 hours per week, permanent post in the Live Well Team
