Full Job Description
Building a sustainable tomorrow
We are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join our team working on our Water Management Alliance schemes throughout East Norfolk. This comprises approximately 5-8 years for work constructing replacement Pumping Stations for the Internal Drainage Board across the region, which are primarily within Norfolk Broads covering the rivers Yare, Bure, Waveney and Upper Thurne.
Your work environment
- BAM operates a flexible working policy
- You will be required to work out of our area office in Norwich and the project site offices as required.
- Client facing on a regular basis.
- Attendance at the following meetings as contracts require: Progress, Design, Risk.
- Liaison with the client's design partner.
- Facilitation of liaison with supply chain partners.
- Oversee commercial reporting across the ECI and Construction contracts.
- Implement and maintain the highest standards of Health, Safety, environment & wellbeing.
- Driven to reduce our carbon footprint.
- Driven to improve social value across our projects.
- Oversee monthly sustainability/social value/environmental reporting.
- Previous experience working with the Environment Agency or Internal Drainage Board.
- Understanding and experience of mechanical, electrical & civil engineering.
- NEC4 approved Project Manager accreditation is preferred.
- Some understanding of MEICA schemes would be beneficial.
- Detailed understanding of the NEC4 form of contract.
- Experienced in leading a medium sized team - circa 20-30 people.
- Experience of early contractor involvement phases followed by construction phases of schemes. Taking projects through their entire lifecycle.
- Design development knowledge.
- In depth understanding of HSEW.
- Price development experience.
- Bid management experience.
- Commercial reporting experience.
