Project Manager - Head of EV

As the Project Manager - Head of EV, you will be part of our Street Lighting, Technology and Electrical Sector who are responsible for the installation and maintenance of electrical infrastructure across the South of England.

As the Project Manager - Head of EV your duties & responsibilities will be to:

• Ensure the health and safety of the team and sub-contractors is closely monitored and fully compliant with Milestone's Minimum Standards


• Ensure full compliance with CDM Regulations 2015


• Carry out Business Development activities to grow the business


• Support technical surveys on proposed installation locations and identify key locations for EV deployment


• Support the team in liaising with Charge Point Operators, our own ICP and DNO's, electrical design and installation (in line with specification)


• Cost management and reconciliation through the Milestone CVR process, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget


• Build close working relationships both internally and with Customers to ensure excellent outcomes for all parties


• Project planning, programming, management, customer liaison and management of staff and site operatives through the project lifecycle


• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for EV for the sector


• Installation crew management and support


• Auditing of ongoing and completed installations


• System registration and notification


• Assume role of SME as required
  
  Proven experience of Project Management within the EV Sector


• Experience and knowledge of Electrical Design Principles


• Extensive knowledge of the CDM Regulations and application of them with regards to Principal Designer and Principal Contractor


• Experience of the management of ICP and DNO LV Jointers


• Electrical Qualifications such as, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, 2391/2934/2935/2936 C&G or equivalent knowledge and experience


• Experience of providing EV turnkey solutions for customers


• Experience of Business Development and building relationships with existing and prospective customers


• Extensive experience in the delivery of Civils and Electrical infrastructure, including Street Works Noticing and the New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA)


• Extensive Budget Management to £5m


• Excellent problem solving skills
