Full Job Description

When it comes to exporting, having a great product or service is only half the story. Putting the right finance and insurance in place can make the difference, helping you to win contracts, fulfil orders and get paid.
UK Export Finance is the UK government's export credit agency. We support exports for any size company and across all industries, from capital goods to services and intangibles like intellectual property. Our mission is to advance prosperity by ensuring no viable UK export fails for lack of finance or insurance, doing that sustainably and at no net cost to the taxpayer.
SC/CTC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be eligible and willing to undergo these checks.
As a Project Manager your main responsibilities would be to:
+ Create and lead the project to deliver the agreed outcomes within time, cost and quality constraints.
+ Day to day management and leadership of the project and the project team. Set project controls. Design the project structure appropriate to stage. Select and apply appropriate delivery methodologies.
+ Coordinate development of the Business Case.
+ Track delivery within budget.
+ Schedule / manage resources to deliver the project. May work independently or with a small team.
+ Ensure benefits are identified, understood, measured, tracked and owned. Ensure appropriate Benefits Realisation Strategy is in place and monitor longer term delivery of benefits against the Business Case.
+ Identify key stakeholders and develop effective relationships.
+ Identify and monitor project risks and issues. Develop mitigating actions and escalate as appropriate.
+ Provide key reports and support effective governance and decision making.
+ Support or set appropriate project assurance.
+ Ensure effective Change Management processes are in place to agree and document changes to deliverables as agreed with stakeholders.
+ Seek appropriate support, guidance and coaching from the project community. Show commitment to personal development. Promote effective individual and team performance.
+ Build Project Plan and apply appropriate project principles to deliver stated objectives. Identify and set appropriate Project Controls. Track and report delivery against milestones.
You'll have

+ Substantial experience in a project delivery role with Demonstrable experience of Project Management methodologies and their application to the design, development, and implementation of projects.
+ Experience of working in an environment of uncertainty and continual change.
+ Deliver projects / programmes to time, quality, and cost.
+ Demonstration of a strong understanding of financial aspects related to a project management environment.
+ Desirable: experience in finance related projects
Qualifications (held 2 or more of the below)
+ PRINCE2 Practitioner
+ Agile Project Management Practitioner
+ APM Project Management Qualification
+ PMI Project Management Professional
