Full Job Description

Education, Learning and Development are currently hosting two large scale projects aimed at supporting the staff who work for CWP.

These are, Prepare to Care - which supports new starters from their first day with all training and support requirements until they begin local induction in their workplace. Heart of Care - which aims at creating opportunities for reflections and development of our CSW workforce.

This role will be to support the management and delivery of both these projects., To support the management and delivery of specific, time bound projects under the direction of the overall Prepare to Care induction programme, ensuring all outcome measures, metrics and key deliverables are met, within the milestones/deadlines set and resources agreed in the programme scope. The post holder will also support the Business Support Manager in the coordination, supervision and administration of the overarching Education, Learning and Development support activities.

All the team are dedicated and hard working, this is a team who really puts to use its own services to ensure those opportunities are available for all and that each member has the chance to flourish and grow.

  • Degree in relevant subject or equivalent (combination of qualifications and significant relevant experience)


  • Desirable criteria

  • Project Management qualification i.e. Prince 2 or equivalent

  • Trained in use of learning administration functions in ESR, Experience in the design, implementation, delivery and management of projects

  • Some understanding of NHS workforce/staff groups

  • Understanding of project management tools

  • Working knowledge of working within budgets

  • Working knowledge of mandatory training processes and policies

  • Understanding of the NW Education Contract, Experience of working in a project management/co-ordinator role

  • Experience of communicating with multiple stakeholders using a variety of different communication methods

  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to time manage effectively

  • Ability to design and deliver training, with support
